Private 1-2-1 Coaching at Bushy Badders Badminton Academy operates independently from our structured term memberships and is arranged strictly by direct mutual agreement with the Head Coach. Our tailored 1-2-1 curriculum ensures continuous player progression, meaning every junior builds seamlessly on the previous week's development metrics when they are ready, rather than restarting themes. This elite training pathway is open to dedicated players aged 8–18 years old who strive to compete in Badminton England Circuit Tournaments and look to earn selection for the local Shires squads.

Our structured curriculum provides continuous, consistent development tailored for all athletes, spanning from complete beginners to advanced County performance players.

Coaching specialisations

Beginner basics
Specialist in first-racket grips, serve consistency and fun, confidence-first sessions.
Smash power & attacking play
Level 2 coach building rotation, jump smash mechanics and rear-court confidence.
Singles and Doubles tactics & net play
Coaches front-court interception, partner rotation and shot selection under pressure.
Footwork & court coverage
High-level player and coach focused on split-step timing and lunge recovery for juniors.
Performance training
Advanced tactical drilling, match-play simulation, and physical conditioning tailored for tournament-level junior competitors.
10-Week Term Junior Private Coaching Commitment
Flat term rate excluding court hire. Requires a full 10-week block commitment to secure consistent development. No individual drop-in sessions.

Rate for Non-Academy Members
Court Hire Policy: Courts must be booked and paid for independently by parents. Where consecutive private coaching slots occur back-to-back, parents must coordinate court allocations directly with one another.
Current approved venues & availability
- Woodford Park Leisure Centre: Saturdays between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM only (By prior mutual agreement with the Head Coach)
- Woodford Park Leisure Centre: Sundays (By prior mutual agreement with the Head Coach)
- Furze Platt Leisure Centre: Wednesdays only, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Wycombe Leisure Centre: Wednesdays only, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Booking Capacity Policy: To maintain the highest quality of instruction, private 1-2-1 training is strictly limited to 2 1-hour sessions on Wednesdays and 4 1-hour sessions per day on weekends. Slots are allocated on a strict first-come, first-served basis per 10-week term.
