Private 1-2-1 Coaching
Private 1-2-1 coaching at Bushy Badders Badminton Academy runs separately from our term club sessions. Private coaching is arranged by agreement with the Head Coach and is subject to coach and court availability. Each player's coaching is individually planned and focused on progression, building on previous sessions rather than restarting themes. Private coaching is available from age 6, subject to coach assessment, suitability and availability. It suits dedicated players, including those working towards Badminton England Circuit tournaments and county level development.

Specialist in first racket grips, serve consistency and fun, confidence first sessions.
Smash power & attacking play
Level 2 coach building rotation, jump smash mechanics and rear court confidence.
Singles & Doubles tactics & net play
Coaches front court interception, partner rotation and shot selection under pressure.
Footwork & court coverage
Competitive badminton player and coach focused on split step timing and lunge recovery for juniors.
Performance training
Advanced tactical drilling, match play simulation, and physical conditioning tailored for tournament level junior competitors.
Price on Application
Private coaching fees are agreed individually and may vary depending on the player’s level, coaching requirements, venue and session demands. Coaching is arranged as an agreed coaching block with the Head Coach. Court hire is not included.
Court Hire Policy: Courts must be booked and paid for independently by parents. Where consecutive private coaching slots occur one after another, parents must coordinate court allocations directly with one another.
Current approved venues & availability
- Woodford Park Leisure Centre: Saturdays between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM only (By prior mutual agreement with the Head Coach)
- Woodford Park Leisure Centre: Sundays (By prior mutual agreement with the Head Coach)
- Furze Platt Leisure Centre: Wednesdays only, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Wycombe Leisure Centre: Wednesdays only, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Subject to court and Head Coach availability and prior agreement.
Booking Capacity Policy: Private 1-2-1 coaching is limited to one 1 hour session per junior per day. Up to two separate 1 hour junior coaching slots may be available on Wednesdays and up to four separate 1 hour junior coaching slots may be available on Saturdays, subject to court and Head Coach availability. Juniors cannot book consecutive or multiple private sessions on the same day. This limit helps manage fatigue and injury risk and ensures private coaching complements, rather than replaces, regular junior club training.
